About Pour Over Paradise
Pour Over Paradise is San Francisco’s first cafe dedicated exclusively to pour over coffee. In our minimalist space, the focus is entirely on the coffee.
The Pour Over Experience
We believe that pour over is the purest way to experience coffee. Our baristas are trained for six months in water chemistry, grind distribution, and pouring techniques.
Equipment Selection
We offer pour overs using:
- Kalita Wave 185: For balanced, clean cups
- Hario V60: For brighter, more complex profiles
- Origami Dripper: Combines benefits of flat and cone filters
- Chemex: For exceptionally clean, tea-like coffee
Bean Selection
Our “Bean Bar” features 12 different single origins at any given time. Each bean is paired with specific brew parameters for optimal extraction.
The Space
Designed for contemplation and enjoyment. No laptops allowed on weekends - we encourage conversation and coffee appreciation.
